Mona Lisa
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s famous masterpiece, the Mona Lisa, this Blythe doll is my own artistic interpretation of one of the most recognisable paintings in the world. I wanted to capture the quiet beauty and mystery of the original while bringing its timeless elegance into a new form.
Her features are carefully hand-painted, with each detail created by hand. The four pairs of eyes draw inspiration from different aspects of Renaissance art, while the eyelids feature a hand-painted Tuscan landscape, a tribute to the region where Leonardo da Vinci was born. Every element was chosen to reflect the painting and the artistic world behind it.
Mona Lisa combines my love for portrait painting with my fascination for art history, allowing me to reinterpret a familiar masterpiece in my own way.
She is a one-of-a-kind creation and exists only once. More than a doll, she is a collectible art piece for those who appreciate handmade work, artistic detail, and the stories behind each creation.
